There´s barely any time

I´ve barely had time to unlace the shoes
I´ve barely had time to write all the letters in the words
I´ve barely had time to do all the buttons on my shirt
I´ve barely had time to lock the door twice
I´ve barely had time to drink morning cup of coffee
I´ve barely had time to brush all the teeth
I´ve barely had time to overtake that goddamned car
I´ve barely had time to declare my income taxes
I´ve barely had time to converse with my wife
I´ve barely had time to go to the vet with the dog
I´ve barely had time to put all groceries in the basket
I´ve barely had time to exercise all the muscles
I´ve barely had time to concentrate on all words from Schopenhauer I listen to when driving in my car
I´ve barely had time to organise this year´s summer holiday
I´ve barely had time to set a date and time with the joiner to assemble a new wardrobe
I´ve barely had time to sleep all the hours needed
I´ve barely had time to say all the words I´ve had to say
I´ve barely had time to take the bag of plastics and bring it into the recycling container
I´ve barely had time to appreciate lovely weather
I´ve barely had time to call my mother
I´ve barely had time to look in the letter box
I´ve barely had time to buckle my watch strap
I´ve barely had time to read anything from the magazines my father supplies me with
I´ve barely had time to catch up with the politics
I´ve barely had time to add all colours to my picture
I´ve barely had time to finish the assignment my colleague needed from me
I´ve barely had time to choose the meals for the next week
I´ve barely had time to play the guitar where even strings got rusty
I´ve barely had time to propagate the art I create
I´ve barely had time to have any time
I´ve barely had time to go to the toilet
I´ve barely had time to answer the unknown number calling
I´ve barely had time to spare some time for my children
I´ve barely had time to eat all the spaghetti I had on a plate today
I´ve barely had time to lavish
I´ve barely had time to languish
I´ve barely had time to live
I´ve barely had time to die
The lack of time
My movements seem slow
While the hand on my watch is
Moving
Moving
Moving
There are all these little knobs, sticks, threads, trifles and trivialities
Driving me mad
They require slow and precise movements
They require much time
Tasks and duties waiting in a queue like shoppers at the checkout
I guess we are all trying to reach the unreachable
