Welcome to My World
Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a child, I explored drawing, painting, and ceramics in local art studios, discovering early on the joy of creating. Later, my artistic journey expanded through studies at the Prague School of Photography, where I deepened my understanding of visual expression and worked across a variety of media and materials.
Today, painting has become the heart of my practice. I am drawn primarily to portraiture and the human figure, captivated by the quiet language of the face and the timeless beauty of the body.
A face carries traces of experience, memory, wisdom, and untold stories. The female form, in particular, evokes something universal—subconscious, archetypal, deeply rooted in our collective imagination. I am fascinated by this silent dialogue between beauty, vulnerability, strength, and mystery. What is it that draws us so instinctively to another human presence? This question continues to inspire my work.
Music is an inseparable part of my creative process. Whether jazz, classical, blues, or rock, it opens the door to a state where time dissolves and the outside world fades away. Painting becomes a place beyond ordinary reality—a quiet, contemplative space where intuition leads, and creation feels both deeply personal and profoundly liberating.
Writing poetry is the other side of my artistic expression. I write every day. Poetry allows me to understand myself more deeply and to navigate the past, embrace the present, and imagine the future. It is a quiet conversation with my inner world—a place where thoughts become words, and emotions find their voice. A selection of my poems can be found on my blog.
For me, painting is more than an act of making. It is a way of seeing, feeling, and connecting—with myself, with others, and with the invisible stories that shape us all.
